Newsletter #9 09 June 2016
Dear FynArts Supporter

Meet up with artists, chefs, gallery owners, musicians, writers, speakers, family and friends at FynArts 2016. Many galleries have resident artists, all have knowledgeable owners/managers, and a team of competent volunteers will man FynArts group exhibitions. Chat over tea and coffee served between talks, a glass of wine at evening concerts, or over a meal at one of the many great restaurants in the town. More about Eating Out in Newsletter #10.

For the full programme of events click here click here for the downloadable programme for days 10 – 14 June; or for days 15 - 19 June. Tickets are available online at webtickets or selected Webtickets outlets or at Hermanus Tourism, Station Building (028 312 2629).

The FynArts Development Fund

Hermanus FynArts has reached a new milestone with the establishment of the FynArts Development Fund in 2015. The long-term aim is to establish a School of the Arts for the Overstrand in Hermanus. In the shorter term the aim is to widen audiences at concerts and at workshops to include people who for socio-economic reasons, or because of disablity, are not able to take part in the festival. This fund will be used to subsidise tickets for concerts, workshops and demonstrations, as well as to offer special arts educational events. For more information click here.
